The unique cultural features of Vietnam’s regions will be showcased at the “Colors of Vietnam” program, held from April 14-16, at the walking-only space around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi. This is an activity within the framework of the 12th Vietnam-France Decentralized Partnership Conference between April 13-15 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of strategic partnership relations between Vietnam and France. There are 60 booths in the exhibition area, showcasing typical handicrafts, products, and delicacies from many localities, along with images of cooperation achievements between Vietnam and France. The booths will be divided into thematic areas such as the potential of provinces and cities; craft village products; culinary culture, and Vietnam-France cooperation. The Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) will be held from June 3 to July 8 by the Han River with the participation of eight teams, including seven from Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland, the UK and the host team, Danang. The DIFF will begin with the competition between the Vietnamese and Finnish teams on that day. Themed ‘Da Lat – The City of Four Seasons of Flowers,’ the biennial cultural-tourism festival, which usually lasts for only a few days on each edition since its introduction in 2003, was originally scheduled for 2021, but was pushed back because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Returning on a larger scale of two months, it began on November 11, while the official opening ceremony was just held on Sunday night, which featured performances from many famed Vietnamese singers and some 400 artists from Lam Dong and from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
