Two traditional markets in Hanoi fall quiet in post-COVID period

Hình ảnh
The market has been left fairly deserted over recent times, in contrast to previous years. The sluggish business situation makes traders depressed. Some use phones to play games or chat to pass away the time. Many store owners state that there has been a downturn in customers compared to previous years. This can largely be put down to the COVID-19 epidemic having a great influence on the economy, with less families spending money on buying essential goods. Similar scenes are recorded at Hang Da market. Many stores remain closed due to the downturn. Store owners have also been forced to reduce their imports of goods, although many items remain on the shelves. Sellers at work have plenty of free time as they lack customers.
