Venezuelan Ambassador Recognized for Dedication to Strengthening Unity and Friendship

On August 25, in Hanoi, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), presented the highest award of VUFO, the “For peace and friendship among nations” medal, to Ambassador Tatiana Pugh Moreno. During the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga expressed her appreciation for Ambassador Tatiana Pugh Moreno’s contributions in strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Venezuela. Ambassador Tatiana Pugh Moreno began her term in Vietnam in December 2019. Despite facing challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ambassador Moreno and the Embassy actively fostered connections between Vietnamese agencies and Venezuela in 2022. Resuming Diving Activities: Nha Trang Targets Hon Mun Island

The proposal mentioned in this report is part of a comprehensive plan to revive Nha Trang Bay until 2030. Prepared by the People’s Committee of Nha Trang, a well-known beach city in the south-central region, this report aims to gather input and feedback from various agencies regarding the reopening of swimming and diving activities in Nha Trang Bay, including the Hon Mun island area. To ensure the protection of the coral reef ecosystem, the report suggests that the diving site be exclusively accessible to professional divers with international diving certificates. Announcing the Winners of the “Amazing Vietnam” Photo Contest

A total of 11 winners are announced as part of the contest, including one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes. The contest aims to promote the country’s tourism industry in the post-COVID period, as well as attracting more domestic and international tourists. As many as 175 photographs are selected to be put on display at an exhibition in Hanoi. The first prize goes to a photograph of Ho Chi Minh City at night by author Nguyen Dang Viet Cuong. A photo by Vu Van Lam of Hai Phong is awarded the second prize. Another second prize is given to author Dang Thi Phuong Lan of Yen Bai province. Author Vu Bao Ngoc of Hanoi wins the third prize.
