VUFO Delegation’s Working Trip to Japan

The purpose of the trip is to enhance the relationship between the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and Japanese partners and establish relationships with new organizations and partners on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. During the trip, the VUFO delegation met and worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), non-governmental organizations, and international organizations. “I Love Vietnam” Video Contest Launched for Vietnamese and Foreigners

The Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPA) have jointly launched an online video contest titled “I Love Vietnam.” The aim of the contest is to showcase the beauty of Vietnam and its people. This initiative was announced by the leaders of VFDA and MPA during the opening ceremony of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival. The contest aims to promote Vietnam as an attractive tourist destination and an ideal filming location for major movies. It is open to all Vietnamese and foreign citizens, especially filmmakers, who are invited to submit their video clips highlighting the hidden gems and stunning landscapes of the country. Vietnamese culture introduced in Paris

Addressing the event, Ambassador Le Thi Hong Van, head of the Vietnamese delegation to UNESCO, emphasised that traditional Vietnamese cultural heritages have been strongly preserved over the years and have been increasingly known to the world through a number of tangible and intangible cultural heritage certificates granted by UNESCO. Claudine de Kerdaniel, a member of the permanent delegation of the Saint Vincent & the Grenadines to UNESCO, said she was extremely impressed by the unique performances put on by Vietnamese artists, especially the water puppetry shows. She highly commended the talent of the local artists, the range of traditional beautiful costumes, the stage setting, as well as their thorough preparations for the shows.
