Exhibit of Original National Emblem Artworks Unveiled in Hanoi

On display are 112 sketches, featuring typical images of Vietnam, from the buffaloes and bamboo trees to the gate of the Hung Kings Temple and Hanoi’s Flag Tower.

The exhibition also displays the originals of more than 100 pencil and colour drawings of the national emblem.

Some 15 sketches were submitted to the Government in October 1954 for consideration, and President Ho Chi Minh signed a decree on January 14, 1956 to publicise the official emblem of Vietnam.

Painter Bui Trang Chuoc, born in 1915 in Hanoi, graduated from the Indochina Fine Arts College, now known as the Vietnam Fine Arts University, in 1941. He was the first Vietnamese painter to design postage stamps in Indochina.

Residents are eagerly heading to the beach to gather these exquisite sea clams with their unique purplish shells for commercial purposes. Strong and mighty waves have deposited a variety of clams, both deceased and living, onto the shoreline. Vietnamese participant finishes as first runner-up at Miss Eco Teen International

Besides receiving the recognition, she also won the title of “most favorite contestant”. Anna Hoang is originally from Hai Phong, but her parents moved to the UK in 2004. Vietnam to have first virtual reality light park

The park will be situated in a 60,000-square-meter ancient pine forest in a tourist area in the district. Ho Chi Minh City-based travel company Ben Thanh Tourist signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of the park with two South Korean partners on Tuesday. The unique park is aimed at making tourism products in Da Nang, which is one of Vietnam’s popular destinations, more abundant. The digital tourism product, with light performances using Newto Company’s virtual reality technology, will bring new experiences and exciting entertainment activities to visitors.
