The biennial event, known as the diplomatic conference, will review and evaluate the implementation of the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress. It will also propose key missions, tasks, and measures to be implemented by the end of the 13th term and in the following years.
The conference will address major foreign affairs issues and contribute to the assessment of 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi (Renewal) process. The conference also aims to develop solutions to build a strong, professional, comprehensive, and modern diplomatic sector.
Prior to the conference, high-ranking officials visit an exhibition showcasing the diplomatic sector’s achievements over recent years.
The event will be attended by representatives of the nation’s overseas agencies and staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conference aims to propose key foreign affairs tasks for the future, thereby reaffirming the crucial role of diplomacy in national development.

Tuyen performed exceptionally well in the qualifying round of the women’s 10m air rifle event at the Asian tournament, scoring an impressive 627.8 points. This secured her a place in the final. On the other hand, her teammate, Phi Thanh Thao, scored 625.2 points, which placed her in the 26th position, ending her run at the competition. Out of the eight finalists, five had already qualified for the Paris Olympics. Tuyen needed to outperform Amini Pozveh of Iran and Huiyi Tan of Singapore for one of the remaining two available Olympic berths. The event was held to commemorate the important anniversaries in the life of President Ho Chi Minh and to pay tribute to his contributions to the Vietnamese nation and humanity. The exhibition showcased a wide range of postal stamps, envelopes, letters, and postcards related to President Ho Chi Minh. The collection included stamps issued by Vietnam and other countries featuring President Ho Chi Minh, as well as stamps depicting the cities where he lived and worked.
