The biennial event, known as the diplomatic conference, will review and evaluate the implementation of the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress. It will also propose key missions, tasks, and measures to be implemented by the end of the 13th term and in the following years.
The conference will address major foreign affairs issues and contribute to the assessment of 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi (Renewal) process. The conference also aims to develop solutions to build a strong, professional, comprehensive, and modern diplomatic sector.
Prior to the conference, high-ranking officials visit an exhibition showcasing the diplomatic sector’s achievements over recent years.
The event will be attended by representatives of the nation’s overseas agencies and staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conference aims to propose key foreign affairs tasks for the future, thereby reaffirming the crucial role of diplomacy in national development.
Nguyen Van Lanh, Vice Chairman of Hoi An City People’s Committee, stated that the festival offers an opportunity for farmers to share their experiences in rice cultivation and improve the quality of rice production. It also contributes to the preservation and promotion of the intangible cultural values associated with traditional rice farming. Following the ceremony, participants were able to engage in various engaging activities, including witnessing buffalo plowing in the fields and water bailing with bamboo buckets.
